❗️Group guidelines
- Upon joining the group, please introduce yourself and include your LinkedIn.
- Keep all conversations job / business / career related in order to keep the group focused. If your message falls outside the professional boundaries, an admin will delete it.
- You’re welcome to advertise a job, but please only post jobs for which you have a direct connection — you can provide a referral or connect to someone who has a referral. This is a network, not a job board.
- Unless it’s a cool / weird job you’re geeking out over!
- Admins can remove members at their discretion in the occurrence of inappropriate behavior, spam or disruptive activity.
- No voice notes.
- Do not DM someone in the chat without responding to a specific request — unless you have a prior connection or relationship with them.
- Be aware of offering your paid help or services to people who have not asked for it. For example, if someone posts that they are opening a cafe and are looking for a social media marketer, do not offer them your interior design services. If they need it, they will ask.
- If someone has asked for a resource or connection it is best practice to ensure you have that resource available before posting in the chat. An example of what not to do is to say “I might know someone, I will ask”. You may ask for more details, but offer the resource only when it is confirmed available.
- Do not post the group link publicly. You may invite individuals by sending them this page. Please only invite people who you can personally vouch for — aka you would be comfortable referring to a professional job.
- Be KIND, be GENEROUS, be CONSIDERATE. Say please. Say thank you. It’s tough out there. Let’s keep this group a safe and supportive environment.
